OKLAHOMA CITY – The July 9th Solo Cross event at Remington Park had 7 OMC members competing along with a few more members in attendance as spectators. Most of the members competed in the CAM-C (Classic American Muscle – Contemporary class) and a few registered into the Novice class.  Once again the course design was fast and challenging to both driver and car.  Throughout the 8 runs, OMC members challenged top spots in the class by tenths of seconds.  CJ Abad (2013 GT) was able to break into the 39 second range and on his last run finished with his best run of 39.424 earning 3rd spot in the class. Tyler Garling (2001 GT) was also able to achieve the 39 second range with a best clean run of 39.971 and 5th in class. Greg Blocker (2016 GT350) was unable to break the 39 second barrier and finished with a best of 40.110 and 6th place. Zac Blocker (2005 GT) decided to compete in CAM-C running on his everyday street tires finishing with a respectable best of 40.280 and 7th place. Michael Springer (2012 Boss 302) installed new suspension since the last solo event and was able to finish with a best time of 43.807 in 9th place.

Alan Spaulding (2016 GT) competed in his first event finishing with a best time of 41.169 and 4th overall in Novice class. Shawn McCoy (2004 Mach 1) also competed in Novice class with a best time of 42.660 and 10th place.
